One of the SRI’s valued supporters, Rotary Club of Kew, recently presented the SRI with a generous donation.
The SRI’s Executive Director, Associate Professor Doug Brown, and Senior Executive Officer, Kristine Hendry, attended a luncheon in June and were presented with a cheque from Rotary Club of Kew President, Mark Bourke, and Director Community, Margaret Turner.
We greatly appreciate Rotary Club of Kew’s ongoing and generous support of the SRI.
It follows a luncheon in May, where occupational therapist and spinal cord researcher, Dr Gillean Hilton, delivered a presentation on behalf of the SRI to Rotary Club of Kew. Read more about this here.
Donations like this enable us to continue the important work we do at the SRI, such as providing international travel grants to early career researchers, our mentor pilot program, the Spinal Cord Research Hub (SCoRH) and development of new programs.
